Adult Day Services Specialist

Josina Lott is currently seeking outgoing and compassionate individuals to assist in our Adult Day Program. Qualified individuals will have a strong desire to provide assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities and have the care and compassion to provide them with the tools they need to enrich their lives. You will provide the support needed for work and activities and encourage independence and community integration.

Day Program Staff will also provide transportation utilizing up to a 15 passenger company vehicle, transporting and assisting individuals to and from work and also on community outings. Valid driver’s license is required

Education: High School Diploma

HR Coordinator

We are seeking a professional, team-oriented Human Resource Coordinator to be responsible for assisting with recruiting, education and the daily functions of the HR and Finance Departments. Responsibilities include:

    • Writing and placing employment ads
    • Coordinating all data needed to hire an applicant and complete pre-employment requirements such as physicals, drug tests, criminal background checks, etc.
    • Conducts background checks and motor vehicle reports
    • Posts and coordinates all in house job postings and the referral/application/interview process.
    • Educates and counsel employees on company benefits including health, personal leave (including FMLA), COBRA, and ensure the enrollment process is complete and accurate.
    • Assist in overseeing the Education Department that includes new staff orientation, annual re-certification training, and any additional staff development.
    • Teach new employee orientation and annual re-certification courses.
    • Maintain annual training log to ensure accurate completion of training for each employee in the company.
    • Assist Finance Department with data entry and other administrative tasks.

Education: High School Diploma/GED

Qualifications:

      • Minimum 3 years Recruiting experience
      • Excellent computer and typing skills
      • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
      • Excellent organizational skills
      • Excellent communication skills
      • Ability to work with minimal supervision
      • Valid Driver's License
      • Must be detail oriented
      • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Recreation Specialist

FUN, ORGANIZED and OUTGOING PERSON WANTED!
Josina Lott is looking for an energetic, creative and compassionate person for our Recreation Specialist position. A qualified candidate will be able to plan and host a wide-variety of activities for adults with disabilities. The position requires special attention to planning, organizing and implementing group and one-on-one activities both in the home and in community settings. They will assist individuals to recover basic motor functions and reasoning abilities. They will also assist individuals by helping to build confidence and socialize effectively to reduce or eliminate the effects of their illness or disability. The qualified candidate will have a valid driver license and the ability to drive company vehicles.

Direct Support Professional

We are seeking caring, compassionate employees that want to join our professional team and provide support with daily living skills to clients with developmental disabilities.

This position is for the candidate who wants to work for an organization that cares about their employees and encourages a team-oriented culture. We offer an excellent workforce development program to our employees to assist them with work life balance.

Responsibilities for Healthcare Workers include assisting clients with social activities, assisting with dressing, toileting, and bathing, assuring individuals are well groomed, implementing and monitoring the individual's program plan, documenting services provided, and performing bed checks as necessary. Employees must also be comfortable driving up to a 15 passenger company vehicle.

Candidates for third shift must have prior experience working third shift.

Hours and Pay:
2nd Shift:

      • 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
      • $10.07 - $11.08 per hour

3rd Shift:

      • 10:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.
      • $10.07 - $11.08 per hour

$1.00 per hour shift differential for anyone working 3rd shift hours from 10 pm to 6 am.

Occasional weekends off. Schedules for all shifts will be discussed in more detail during the interview with the manager.

Qualifications:

      • High School Diploma or GED is required.
      • One year of direct care experience with adults with disabilities preferred.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to pass Adult CPR/First Aid/AED training.
      • Ability to pass drug screen and criminal background check.
      • DSPATHS (Direct Support Professional Advancement through Training and Education in Human Services) Certificate a plus.
